Doctorate Programmes in Nanotechnology and Advanced Materials Science

Available PhD positions

Experimental physics: surface physics, nanostructures, nanotechnologies and nanomedicine, self-assembly in mono-layers of organic molecules, metal-organic frameworks, scanning probe techniques (STM, c-AFM, nc-AFM, Kelvin Probe Microscopy), multi-chamber UHV systems.

Theoretical physics: tip-surface interaction in atomic force microscopy, first principle's calculation of electronic structure, modelling of structural changes in materials, computer modelling of surface modification upon ion bombardment.

More detailed information about evaluation procedure and financial support for candidates will be available soon. For further information, please contact the local PCAM coordinator.
